Benefit Posie Tint A quick look at Orange UK Orange is currently a subsidiary of France Telecom and is one of the largest networks in the United Kingdom (and is ranked fifth largest in the world of mobile network operators). The company is based in Bristol, England and is headed by Chief Executive Tom Alexander. The telecommunications company earned a turnover of 6.620 million euros last 2007 and continues to grow. The company also recently began selling the iPhone 3G from Apple and was the first company in the United Kingdom to begin selling Apple's mobile phone after the two-year contract on O2 exclusive device. The company has over 300 stores throughout Europe and they have tie-ups with major retailers such as Carphone Warehouse, Phones4U, Argos and others. Initially, Orange Mobile is part of Hutchison Telecom. It was later bought by Mannesmann AG in October 1999. When later acquisition of Mannesmann Vodafone, Orange Mobile, it sold to France Telecom as the company was not permitted to own two licenses mobile operator in the United Kingdom. Recently, it was announced that German-based Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom will merge their operations in the United Kingdom. So far, no details were revealed as to what happens to T-Mobile and Orange. Pay as You Go phone rates For Orange customers who wish to obtain pay-as-you-go devices, there is a wide variety of mobile devices to choose from. Currently, Orange UK offers its customers various discount rates or free gifts to go with its mobile phones division. The BlackBerry Curve the other is available for pay-as-you-go customers for 149 pounds, which is much as it gives a discount of 30 Pound. The Samsung Tocco Lite the other hand is only 79 pounds, 10 pounds on the original price. Orange Monthly Offers To separate the affairs of others, Orange has adapted a naming convention unique and fun for the proposed contracts. According to Orange, the various contracts have been designed with the lifestyle and needs of their target audience in mind and that the naming convention is not only fun, but it also has a greater recall value. The plans are named Dolphin, Raccoon and Panther. Dolphin plans best suited for people who love to send text messages more often than anything else. Plans raccoon are the best choice for people who spend time making phone calls and plans are Panther offers Web-centric, focusing on the possibility of sending lots of e-mails. Environmental Responsibility In the UK, Orange Mobile stores will accept old electronic gadgets and more specifically, mobile phones for recycling. For each device that recycles Orange, the company will donate £ 5 to charity partners.
