Bare Minerals is different for everyone, but in my experience, it didn't even cover my freckles light so I doubt it will do much for acne scars. I suggest that base in the city Clinic compact (very nice, buildable coverage) or is the ultimate factor max pan stick makeup, a little cakey but better when applied with a damp makeup sponge.
