Blending Brush

Blending BrushProfessional makeup brushes - Profits and types

Professional makeup brushes are a bit different from the makeup brushes that are provided as "gifts" when you buy a minimum amount of cosmetics at the makeup counter. The free makeup brushes usually have synthetic bristles that break easily and can cause irritation if you have sensitive skin. The bristles are not tapered, so it is very difficult to blend your makeup properly. Thus, the length of time in which you'll use these brushes is very temporary.

On the other hand, professional makeup brushes can be more expensive, and they are never given as "gifts". Less come with synthetic bristles, and the most popular types are goat, sable and squirrel. They are also available in different sizes and shapes, allowing you to properly apply makeup on the desired area of your face or body.

I must admit I'm biased towards professional makeup brushes, and it comes just from my experience with them to help. Now granted I still use a sponge wedge and Q-tip when I need it, but let me make up brushes to apply my makeup with precision. Because I like so much eye shadow, brushes, mixing colors blend together so well that the look is flawless and complete. There are no hard lines, so give me a look much more flexible (and professionals).

There are several types of professional makeup brushes, but I will only cover a few that I think you'll need for your makeup everyday:

1. Brush application - It is generally synthetic bristles are straight and firm. This brush is used to apply eye shadow and hides in the necessary areas. You can usually find them in small and large sizes, but choose the size according to your needs.

2. Angle Brush - This is my favorite because it is generally used to apply eyeliner and fill in sparse areas of my eyebrows with eyeshadow. The synthetic angle brush thus contains, and it is very firm and inclined (angle). I highly recommend this brush if you experience difficulties in applying eyeliner, because you can "connect the dots" to form a straight line.

3. Blending Brush - widely available in natural bristles, this brush is used for mixing soft shadows on the eyelids to create a softer look. Please note that smaller brush heads are used for the more concentrated mixture, and heads of large size tend to spread out the pigment eyeshadow. Choose the head on the result you are trying to achieve.

4. Powder / Blush Brush - Also available in natural bristles, this brush is small enough to implement the powder on the face, and large enough to be ashamed of dirt on the cheeks. Because the bristles are tapered, it melts very well, and the larger head makes for a uniform distribution.

makeup brushes keep bacteria and old makeup pigments, which can ruin them over time, and change the color of makeup you want to wear. The best way to maintain your professional makeup brushes is to wash them at least three times per month in a very mild shampoo (preferably baby shampoo). After washing the head, press firmly to release all the water needed, the shape of hair all wet and dry flat. Following this extra step will help you achieve the results you want for years to come.
