CERN is the Money Justified? Although this article begins by mentioning the title of CERN, it applies to all research that costs lot of money but may give no results as far as our living condition is concerned on the earth. The Hadron experiment came into focus for many reasons,

Since ages experiments have been conducted to unravel the mysteries of the universe. But none has cost so much. Scientists expect to learn more about-
1. The origin of the universe
2. subatomic particles more
3. Higgins Boson
4. Other findings.
How it helps us all who share the earth? How worried are as bored with this or what happened during the origin of the universe? Most countries face problems of hunger and disease. The people there at all bothered about these experiences and outcomes? Developed countries are fighting against the threat-
1. Global warming
2. Terrorism
3. The economic downturn
Which candidate has made this research an issue in elections in 2008? None of them did so because they know it does not matter to voters. What matters to ordinary people is the cost of living, employment, education, taxes and health care. Besides that the main threat of terrorism and the loss of lives in the fight against it. Why are we applauding this experience? The money would have been better spent in the fight against global warming, AIDS, job creation and the fight against terrorism.
It is tragic that the large sums spent to experience novelty, but people in many African countries are starving. They are more concerned with food and medicines.
