How do I apply for the shops, are there any suggestions to raise funds? I created a web page and contacted family members., Everybody has not yet contributed, but I can only make the race if I raise the funds.

Thank you
Hello just like PT A Crohn's stock. for 28 years, THANK YOU for raising funds and awareness about it. I had it for 12 years and now I see the kids more and more under the age of 10 years with that.
Our local has just had a foot for ITN and raised over $ 78,000!
First, I talk to friends and family who run a business or know someone who is on a first name basis w / a business owner. Another idea, check out the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation website. Find a local support chapter of CCFA. Ask them how they compose their letters to local businesses to ask for $ $ $ support.
The site has a live chat, phone line, and an open forum where you can ask questions to others in the same situation. What I did, I knew a few people while attending meetings and asked if they were on foot and if not, whether they'd support me. I also asked my GI to support me (he has done for over 5 years. At $ 50 a pop).
I remember attending meetings and get more ideas. I wish I could be more helpful, but I am recovering from recent surgery.
Again, thank you for raising $ $ $ to find a cure. I wish you all the best and you've reached your quota.
Thank you for your efforts!
I would say maybe get a picture of someone who has Crohn's disease who gave you that idea ... if possible. People are more willing to listen if they see a personal touch.
You can also get a big white shirt and make you a billboard "current" and sell the space on the shirt. If someone gives you a gift, they can write a note or an advert there. It may be different but hey that's how NASCAR Car recover their money for their sales teams ... spots on the car.
Good Luck
