Dog Nail Clippers What are the best clippers for dogs? I need a nail clipper for dogs that are easy to use and also make a nice clean cut without leaving behind bits. Use the type of scissors. Plain and simple, you can refine them and you do not need new blades. A good pair of heavy duty will last your whole life not only the dog. I've been a professional groomer dog for 15 years and I can confidently say the Clippers are the absolute best made by Miller Forge. You can get them on petedge.com and are bright orange and carry a dozen U.S.. I did not know if they ship to you, but give it a try. If this is not just for the same off another site or on ebay. The guillotine suck and I would never use them. Give Miller Forge try, they have no problem cutting through even the largest of the thickest nails. Sorry can not help ... we used the guillotine in practice and also used the groomers. I always use at home. Looking to the nail and cut the underside. it simply should not hurt the dog at all if you're doing things. Sorry, I use the trimmer guillotine ... Check out the Dremel tool, many people use and their dogs do not seem to mind at all .. Tho careful, do not grind in a place too, do not take them too far, and be careful you do not get someone's hair caught in the thing. I do not like the style or guillotine. This style is much better: http://www.lovemypet.com.au/shopexd.asp? ... I use a small grinder, it works really well and he leaves around nails without sharp edges. Posted on February 7, 2010.
