I have an art project coming soon and I'm really stuck for ideas. I was told that I must make a strong portfolio that will be based on human forms. I can go as wild and extreme that I want but my head is empty lol. I thought perhaps something to do with the work of Fafi>> www.fafi.net "but I do not know if I'll be able to make a strong enough case based on this style of drawing. ideas??

Do not become addicted to reproduce the style of another artist, is for people without their own ideas and I think you probably have ideas, but are a little panicked because you're short of time! :)

IMO forms of man are the ultimate challenge and most artists and photographers may gravitate to them, at some point in their lives. Check photo.net, critical advice, fashion items and nude, for ideas on all different angles, clothing, expressions, situations, etc. that can be expressed in human form. So your abstract ideas into something like the animated characters who Fafi.

No, I think what your teacher asks you to do is not a style more than a million times, but some models, the Subject is the form humna. If you just do a bunch of Fafi, your teacher will not be too happy.

Fafi make this thing and other things as well as not Fafi, so you'll have all these human forms of all types. Maybe make a model of a man out of mashe paper.

PS I think the form is humasn the most boring subject you can think of. Your teacher is like a shower.

What about fashion or dance, both would work well with Fafi I think. You may want to explore anime / manga in this regard.

Obesity and disability have a lot on TV / news today, what about exploring 'what is normal?

I also love the surrealism of Dali, then I'd probably discover the human form of other objects, or make the body more.
