Heal A Seal

Heal A SealIs the mark of a seal-healing-repair kit recommended for fixing leaks in the cylinder head?

based on labor costs for repairing defects in the head, can it be a cracked head or replacement of seals, compared to the cost of repair kit to cure-a joint, I am interested in buying the mounting kit and the car myself. if there is a better brand for the post, thank you for advising me. Your contributions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I also advise you by your last question to get a head worn and rebuilt. I do not advise helicoil in the whole head, go read your question last time, they do not work.

I never use a seal kit head, I've never been happy with the radiator sealant kit as a kid. I do not want to lose an engine, because for a leak in the head. As a mechanic past, I would not use a repair kit, because I'd stuck to the back. I would advise a new leader, not so much for the cost of the work I'd like that I do not want my work to come back and cost more. Not knowing what you are driving, and how much you know about cars. It is not difficult to replace a head, but you do not need to know a little and have the tools. Maybe it's just not hard for me after all these years. I just had to change inside the ball joints on a 1903 Aerostar was not worried because I've never done before, and after getting the boots for the tie, and see how it was implemented, not sweet, it took about 45 minutes to do both.

Hey! I have a 1986 dependent (aka a "K" car). 2 years ago I had a head gasket leaking and used `S BAR LEAKS HEAD GASKET repair in the bottle Silver $ 10 at NAPA.

It would have taken half a bottle of it and I'm fine so far!

Follow the instructions carefully and I highly recommend you bypass the heater core when installing this type of thing. I didn't and almost plugged my heater core!

Fix it right and you will have no problems. "Mechanic in a bottle" products have been around as long as cars. None has ever been reliable. Pull the head, find the problem, fix it. This is the only thing that will give you peace of mind that it is well done.

I HAVE a backhoe 1972 AND WHEN I bought it for $ 300, he had a cracked block and sweating SIDE if the block but NOT in the side of the oil so I added a little leak and BAR drain for weeks, it was cracked but it worked ADB after emptying every night and RE added with a new box.
I still RUN AND IT IS NOW does not leak and I dug a weekend POND LAST.

I recommend you use a joint block. K & W Block Seal It works great. But if you do not follow the instructions EXACTLY - it will not work. If you follow the instructions, it will work
