Not only does this reduce the amount of oil on your face that day, but it also makes your transferproof face. Then you can buy a blot powder. While mattifier stop your face to produce that oil will not completely stop and you can get some shine at the end of day. So if you have 10 hours a day, then put the powder slightly blotting (using a powder brush) on your face when you shine.
