Longer Lashes

Longer LashesLonger lashes are now possible - Grow your own!

Longer eyelashes have always been a characteristic that most women want to be one of the most interesting features in a face. Women want to look good, both for their own satisfaction, and to look good for the opposite sex. Nothing is more seductive than a flutter of long lashes slow seduction when a lady is looking into the eyes of a member of the opposite sex.

But what do you do when you have short eyelashes or thin lashes, lids or sparsely populated, with a whip? Or worse yet, no lashes at all?

Improvise. What man has developed so far has been - the clever use of mascara, false eyelashes, then, then eyelash extensions, and finally, eyelash transplantation.

All these factors have enabled women to look much more attractive. But somehow, just somehow it does not feel real. Basically, this was not the real thing, apart from the transplant, which have not been particularly successful or natural look anyway.

The answer to this problem? Eyelashes grow your own.

As is often the case, scientific discoveries occur quite by accident. Those treated with eye drops designed to reduce the pressure of the eyeball in glaucoma have been noted to have begun lengthens lashes. It did not take long for the instincts of the entrepreneur to the surface and instead of dismissing the growth of lashes as a side effect burden of glaucoma, people of Allergan Inc. developed this discovery and has developed a product called Latisse, which was actually bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03%.

Applied night at the margin of the upper eyelid only at the base of the lashes, this has been scientifically proven that begin to grow longer lashes starting at 8 weeks. This product has recently been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use in culture longer lashes. The product is only available on prescription.

How bimatoprost is stimulating the growth of hair follicles to produce hair, and extend the growth phase of hair. This has resulted in the production of thicker eyelashes, darker and more, stay longer before falling. The effect lasts as long as the solution is applied, and new lashes fall over a period of several weeks on discontinuation. Side effects are said to be minimal and acceptable, including certain skin pigmentation of the eyelid that may be reversible, and pigmentation of the iris which can be permanent. Other side effects include itchy eyes, and redness of the eyes.

But when all is said and done, more and more over your own lashes naturally is a big improvement on the old fashioned traditional methods of applying false eyelashes, a bit like the satisfaction of growing your own hair on your scalp far exceeds that of wigs to help.
