Prescription Nails

Prescription NailsDoes anyone know what to do with empty prescription bottles plastic other than nails and screws in the implementation?

I've used for nails and screws, but I do not know what else to do with them. I have so much and they called veterinarians and pharmacies to see if they had the recycling or reuse, but they will not. I do not throw them in the trash and landfills later. Anyone have ideas on how to recycle all those empty bottles of pills?

Most of these probably should not be recycled.

The drugs that were in them can provide a residue that can resist recycling.

* * You can request that your pharmacists use the same bottle for the renewal of the same drug.

That's what I do.

And do not flush your drugs down the toilet ... It's bad enough that what remains in your body ends up there ...

As a biologist, I work with plastics that absolutely must not * end up in the recycle stream on a regular basis and am looking to purchase 100% recycled when I can.

In fact, googling, it seems that even if you recycle them (and you should not), most can not be-

Edit: Regarding the person with the waste "dangerous" to local centers of most of these places are for the elimination of solvents (paints, paint strippers, pesticides) and a lot of drugs (particularly drugs based hormones) can not be destroyed by this process .. .. Ideally, Biohazard is the best place to deal with them, and that means ultra high temperature incineration.
Some places will "days drug elimination" and you can add to the pile, but they have incinerated, not recycled. Not all drugs are as bad as others, but things like Propecia can cause bad things incredibly if they end up in water through the cleaning process of recycling plastics or improper disposal.

They have recycling centers can not be one in each city you have to check a map or something. but they will take things that had toxic stuff in it For example: aerosol cans, batteries, etc.

Recycle them as with any other plastic.

Wow, there are many good suggestions I've never thought.

I use mine for my work with beads and other crafty projects and to keep the little things I can not ever seem to find in my bag, such as nail clippers. You can always keep in an area in your car for parking meters.

I can not think of other ideas that have not already been mentioned. Great question by the way!

Use them to store a key outside in an emergency to protect. Can be used in many places!

First, I soak them in soapy water, to get the residue on the pill.
I use them for paint. crafts, etc. If there is only a little color to the left, and I can put the lid on it to prevent it from spreading., with a dot of color on top I've used for needles sewing. eye beads, gemstones, deformed, etc. for crafts. Jelwery important when traveling.

classroom art schools art /. Storing things like straight pins, paint-up, etc.

You can travel size portions of lotion, shampoo, bath gel or lotion, shaving them.

Take the animal shelters ... I give them all the time to animal shelters ... they are always asking for cats .... they are used for toys for cats because cats love to play with them ... if you do this, you help the environment and animals in need, at the same time ... a win win!

These are answers I never quite thought.

I use mine to hold coins, such as wards of the state.

use them to bring other small things, tell your pharmisist use THAT Bo.
