MarketplaceWedding Makeup wedding makeup? I read that I should have my makeup done for my wedding professional, where can I find someone who does that? Close to my wedding site there is no department stores and thats the only place I can think of? If its within your budget, I suggest going to your local salon or makeup counter to rent a freelance makeup artist for you. And try the makeup first time before the wedding day (to make sure that your make-up) You do not want to wait for the day ... this will make you stressed. Then see if you can hire that person to freelance for you on your wedding day. Im not sure where you are, but it will be more relaxed and less stressful if they come to you (spoiled) on your special day. Usually independent artist should be about 20-50 per hour.Or offer him a flat rate. Give your hairdresser a call to determine if they offer make-up services, if not, I'm sure they know of an artist they could recommend to you. Note that if your artist is going to have travel far enough to get to your wedding site, there will most likely have an extra trip. Check with a local salon Full service. I just had a new opening up of 2 blocks of me that's makeup. Go to a department store (Dillard's, Penney's) and make an appointment with one of the ladies selling cosmetics. They give you free applications, the more you may be able to pay them after hours to help the wedding day. Take a look on the internet for any wedding shows. I suggest you find one near and take a friend when you do, there will stll put in place, some makeup, hair, and photographers that you just made the turn, they demonstrate on you and you number and have a look and see who you like and give them a call. Also, if you take a look at yell.com and have a look in beauty shops near you some of them do you up there. Hpe this helps x Posted on March 18, 2010.
